We went the other day. Just like any other fair, it involves shows, bad for you food but tasty & rides. But we just ate, watched shows & shopped at the showmart.

I had to take a photo of this cause it was gross to see? What wants to eat deep fried butter?

More bows! I’ve been sick for the past week. A summer cold. Yuck. So I’ve been home more trying to recover. I made a few hairbows for my etsy today. They turned out pretty decent.

Recently I bought a pair of meta bloomers. I’m in love with them. They are just the right length, pretty short! Thin enough cotton, so it’s comfy and doesn’t overheat you. Skirts are a pain on windy days, now I just wear bloomers under them.
I decided to to give it a go to see if I can mimic a pair. They turn out ok!. Could use some minor improvements.

On the odd days the postman will actually deliver my parcels to my door. Today was that day & I even received 3 of them. but this one coming from Japan with the Jello Kitty Stamps on it. Why doesn’t Canada have cool stamps like these? But then again We don’t worship Hello Kitty like the Japanese does. What do we have? Beavers?

Meet Hunny & Dina. We’re fostering them for a month from the VRRA. To see if we’re like to adopt them. I’ve been wanting bunnies for some time now. They are a lot of work! they like to run, hide, explore & chew on everything. Bunny-proofing can be a pain. But you home sure does become much more lively when you’re trying to sleep and they’re ripping paper to shreds.

My savings surely has been depleting rapidly in 2010. I’ve been spending & making online purchases non-stop. I was so good last year & saving so much money and I’ve spend like 30% of that this year. Ahhhh~~ Time to stop!

Having a good hair stylist is very important. One that knows what you like and what works for you. I’ve switched so many over the years but I think I finally found another good one. Sabu @ Misako’s Beach Avenue on Thurlow. Awesome. Previously I was going to Misako’s on Davie until my regular Yuki went back to Japan.
I must admit from my personal experiences Japanese hair salons >Western hair salons. Very seldom do I get the type of service given at a Japanese salon from a Western salon. Probably the rest why I’ve stop trying to go to those years ago. Too many times have I walked into a Western Salon & come out totally unhappy & very unsatisfied with my new cut to hating it. But always been please with the service & results from Japanese salons. Though sometimes it is a little intimidating because they don’t always speak very good English but they know how to cut hair. worth ever buck +tips you pay. Always tip your hair stylist! Because they are just that worth it!
