I can honestly say Yes, I have a lip addiction. An addiction to lip products in general. 

Really, I’m sure it’s not as bad as a lipstick hoarder. You guys are out there, I know it. Not that there is anything wrong with that or any other type of cosmetic hoarder to begin with.
I actually don’t like lipsticks types but gloss and balms are ok. Only reason being is that I am on the lazy side and can’t be bothered to reapply throughout the day to maintain the color. I probably lick my lips and eat a lot and then wipe if off with a tissue. It’s the thought of having to pull our a mirror every time to apply is a bother. That’s why I just flat out stop buying them. Now at most I would wear tinted lip gloss but still I rarely reapply. Lately, ever since I started using lip tints, I’m in love with them now, because they last and I don’t need to reapply!!! Of course, if they do fade, I just leave it be but at least it will last most of the day most of the time.

My addiction lies with chapsticks and lip balms.  I cannot be bothered to reapply color lip products but with chapsticks it’s almost religious, no mirror needed.
I got them lying around everywhere, in pockets of various coats and cardigans, toss a few in my bags, desk, tables. You name it, I probably got one somewhere. It’s out of habit, been so many years that I’m too use to it I cannot survive even a few hours without applying something onto my lips. On a stranded island, if I could only bring 3 items, 1 of them would have to be a lip balm of some sort.

So I am going to list a few lip products I like and maybe a few random I would love to try. I’m not that picky, I can use chapsticks of any brand or price really. I just tend to stay away from ones that are too oily and too heavy in fruit scent most of the time but am open to them. For me, if it apply thin and oily, it won’t last and I will end up hating it becuase I’m licking my lips and having to reapply very shortly. That feeling actually bugs the shit out of me. I prefer ones that apply a bit thicker or dryer, which tends to stay on my lips for a much longer period of time.

This is probably my top choice, it works really well.
 eos – sweet mint lip balm
I have only tried the sweet mint & honey suckle.
Nivea – Essential Lip Care
I prefer the original one more than any of their other ones. I bought the Milk & Honey one while in the US because I was curious but it feels much more oily and doesn’t stay on my lips as well. I use them still, if the option is limited.
 Daiso – Menthol Lipstick
I found this in Daiso randomly when I really needed one and it turn out to be really good. $2 only.

I also really like Mentholatum ones, I have a few I haven’t opened yet. The Color Combos Avocado Milkshake one is surprising decent!

Various lip products to try. Sasa has a ton of choices, here’s a few I’ve selected. I mostly prefer ones where  I don’t need to dip my fingers into it, pot types. If it’s large enough that I can smack my lips onto it I will.

Etude House’s Kissful Lip care is pretty decent too, little bit oily for me but ok. I’ve only tried the peach one.

Etude House Missing U I Can Fly Lip Balm. So Cute. They look like eos lip balms except cuter. It’s suppose to be eggs to match their bird hand creams. Must get

It’s Skin Ice Creamy Lipbar. I really want to try these, I’m curious. It’s even tinted too. It just might prompt me to do a g-market order even though I am on a cosmetic diet. I’ve been good and haven’t really done any cosmetic shopping at all in like 2 months now. I haven’t even browse g-market until writing this post. Definitely get the Fresh Apple & Berry Berry flavour for me.

It’s Skin Macaron Lip Balm, so cute. I bought one of these to gift a friend and I got one myself. I would love to try the grape & pineapple.

Holika Holika’s  Fruits Pop Gloss. I like gloss better than lipstick, though there is always the issue of my fly away hairs sticking to my lips. These also look fun, fruity tinted flavoured gloss.

Holika Holika’s Juicy Shine Lip Balm. More Fruity stuff but in a blam form!

Holika Holika’s Sugar Syrup Gloss. Super fruity & super glossy. I’m not a big fan of these tube type gloss, especially if the cap unscrew in my bag and makes a mess. It has happened countless times to me.

Ok here’s another if you aren’t tired of looking at all these lip products yet.

Vecua Wonder Honey Lip Essence Cream. I’m just a sucker for the cute animals. But it looks pretty decent. White rose I really want to try, also in Green Tea Mint & Honey Pot.
Shopping service will be required to get these. I haven’t seen any Vecua products readily available anywhere online for international sales. They seem to have a lot of lovely products.

I think that’s about it for now, I could go on forever… There are just so many lip products around. Do you hoard them like I do? Of all the cosmetic items, I hoard lip products the most. They are small and easy to store and misplace.
