It’s Skin Rice Firming Cleansing Cream is the second cleansing cream I have tried and am currently using now. The Rice firming series consist of 3 items that I know of, Cleansing cream which is the one I got, Cleansing Foam and Cleansing Milk.

The Rice Firming Cleansing cream by It’s Skin comes in a pretty large plastic container of 200ml. It contains sprouted black rice extracts. Black rice has antioxidants to help with anti-aging and healthy skin. Rice brans in general is pretty good in skin care in my opinion. This purpose of this It’s Skin Rice Firming Cleansing Cream is to help clean dirt from pores and remove make-up. In theory, you apply the cream and massage, it should glad over your pores and stick to the dirt in the pores and it will be absorbed into the cream along with make-up.
I quite like the simple product packaging. The paper label feel nice and reminds me of rice. LOL The smell does indeed smell of rice/soy. Nothing too overwhelming. Little product is required to cover the entire face. Which is what I do because I use it to remove everything! BB cream, mascara, eye liner, you name it. I use more than needed most of the time, about a tablespoon size to cover my entire face. Massage it for a while and I can see the beige color cream turns slightly murky color from the collected make-up. It does a decent job in removing make-up. I usually do this twice, after wiping with cotton pads I apply just a dab more all over and wipe again to make sure I get as much make up off as possible to make sure there is no left over gunk. This cleansing cream does a good job, but it isn’t enough for me. It doesn’t completely remove all of my waterproof mascara unless I do it 2-3 times.
I have now decided after this being my second cleansing cream that cleansing creams are not for me. As with the Face Shop one I posted about previously, it is too oily for me! I believe yes for some people who have dry skin you can just use this and rinse with warm water and you will be ok. But for me, it is impossible. If I just rinse with water after using this, there is a film of oil on my face left from the cream. So I always wash my face with a cleansing foam after using this or else I feel gross like my face is dirty and oily.
I would not recommend this for oily skin ladies for sure. You will just be adding more oil to your skin. Dry skin, this should be ok. Normal skin, I am unsure since I find this greasy on me. Might differ for each person. So there is no guarantee what I say will be same result as you. Unless it is a oil-free cleansing cream I think I will not try another cleansing cream.
The only good cleansing cream I have used and love until now is The Body Shop camomile waterproof eye make-up remover. This has been the one I have used in a cream form that does not leave any traces of oil on my skin. I can use it with ease and wipe and my skin is perfect clean and fine, no oil. It is a staple in my stash and will probably be the only cleansing cream I will continue to use as of now. It is not the cheapest and you don’t get that much but it is definitely the best in my opinion. If you want a good cleansing cream, give this one a try. It is suitable for those with sensitive skin also. Big plus! Also it is in a flip cap tube form easy open and close.
What I really don’t like from all the Asian cleansing creams I have seen now comes in the jar type containers. Need to unscrew open the cap and have to close it but my hands are oily and greasy from dipping my hands to get the cream. Which makes me feel like I get the container cover with cream too.
If cleansing creams are too oily for me, I don’t even dare to use cleansing oils at all. Though I will definitely try out some cleansing gels & waters in the future.
Sadly, because I don’t like to waste, I am going to have to tough it out and continue to use and finish this as quickly as possible, just have to wash my face after using this cleansing cream. The Rice Firming series did seem quite appealing, maybe the cleansing foam or milk may be decent. It’s my attraction to rice type products that got me in the end.
If you really must try this, it is available at korea depart.
What are you experiences with cleansing creams? I’m interested to know if any normal skin people like using cleansing creams.

Try to use warm / hot towel after wipe off the cleansing cream, not to use water.
After wipe with cotton pads, use a hot towel to wipe again? I will try, thanks for the suggestion. Maybe this will be better for me, I hope. haha
just tussie off, and then place a hot towel on top of the face, press slightly, that will do. just try. :)
